about
For nearly a decade we've been chasing pu'er and the tools that go with it — travelling Yunnan, South China, Malaysia and Taiwan, trying every tea we can, hunting dusty tea ware in the backs of antique shops, and building relationships with everyone willing to teach us along the way.
The teas we enjoy today, we can only really get directly from farmers. So, we do: we head into the mountains, chat with farmers, try their teas and visit the trees. We buy the teas we absolutely love. The thing is though, farmers sell in kilos, and there's only so much tea we can store.
So from 2026, we take our favourite pu'er teas, sourced from people we know and trust, stone-press them in Yiwu, and share them here. No secret blends, no fancy names, no trust-me-bro promises — just the same leaves we drink ourselves.
Alongside our teas, you'll find the tools we choose to drink them with, and a few old teas we found on our travels.
357tea isn't our job, it is our obsession. This gives us the option to be niche and the privilege not to have to stretch the truth.
